Byrdstown was established in 1879 as a county seat for the recently-formed Pickett County. The town, where several families already lived, was named for Colonel Richard Byrd, a Civil War veteran from Kingston. Byrdstown was officially incorporated in 1917.

It’s time for our 3rd Annual DaleHolloween!

Location: Byrdstown Activities Park
Date: Saturday, October 31, 2020
Time: 5:00PM – 7:00PM

The event is open to all businesses, churches, organizations & individuals that would like to pass out candy to the trick or treaters of Byrdstown.
Decorate a tent, trunk or bed of truck.
12×12 spaces available
Electricity available (Bring your own extension cords that need to be 100 ft.)

Set up the day of the event.
No vehicles will be able to leave the area until the event has ended.
Everyone must be set up and extra vehicles off the area no later than 4:45PM.

Limited spaces are available.
Anyone interested in setting up space needs to call the Town Hall @ 931-864-6215 or come by the office and reserve your space(s).
If you need more than one space together, please specify how many spaces needed when reserving.
